TOM LIPAR, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lipar is the founder of LGI and serves as the company's chief executive officer. Before founding the company in 1995, Mr. Lipar spent the early part of his career distinguishing himself as a leader in the Patten Corporation, a large publicly traded national land development company, and general manager of a Ford Motor Company dealership in his home state of Michigan . His spectacular career is a study in success and determination.

DANIEL TROMBLEY, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Trombley has over 15 years of accounting and finance experience, in both public and private settings, and specifically 10+ years in retail land accounting. Mr. Trombley is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting-finance activities of the land division, production housing division as well as the mortgage company.  Mr. Trombley graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (f/k/a North Adams State College) Magna Cum Laude in 1990. ERIC LIPAR, President

Eric Lipar began his career in the real estate business with the Patten Corporation. He worked in the Dallas market for three years and earned status as a national "Top 10" producer before joining LGI. Building on his track record in sales in three different LGI projects, he was promoted and served as manager of financial affairs and as project manager for Lone Star Ranch - LGI's 501-unit development. Under his management, Lone Star Ranch sales grew from 84 units in 2000 to 144 units in 2001, finishing with 197 closings in 2002. (more about Eric Lipar)


FRED "BUTCH" ALANIS, Executive Vice President of Development

Mr. Alanis entered the land business in 1995 with Blue Green Corporation. He was recruited as a salesman and distinguished himself as the top producer for two years in a row. He was hired by LGI in 1998 to work as a sales representative on Brazos Lakes - a major acreage community south of Houston, which sold out in twenty-three months.

Prior to working in the land business, Mr. Alanis was a project and general manager for multi-national engineering firms TRW and International Technologies where he oversaw $200 million worth of Army Corps’ of Engineers projects. (more about Butch Alanis )

CHRISTOPHER WREN, Executive Vice President of Operations

Mr. Wren has more than 11 years of commendable sales, operations and management experience. He oversees the operations for LGI Development and its subsidiary companies. This includes corporate operations, facilities management, human resources, information systems, risk management, accounting and general administration.

Chris graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1994 with a degree in finance. He quickly entered the high-growth industry of technology in Dallas, Texas as an information technology recruiter with the nation's largest technical staffing firm.(more about Chris Wren)

MIKE SNIDER, Executive Vice President of Homebuilding

Mike Snider joined the company in February 2004 as homebuilding manager and was promoted to executive vice president of homebuilding in June 2005. He is responsible for purchasing and estimating, customer service, and field operations for homebuilding construction.

Prior to joining LGI, Mr. Snider was a Project Manager for Tadian Homes, based in Troy , Michigan . While at Tadian, Mike managed field operations and customer service for multiple subdivisions, helping Tadian grow from 71 homes closed to 566 homes closed in 3 years. (more about Mike Snider )

JAMES H. VAN STEENHOUSE, President - InterLinc Mortgage

James Van Steenhouse brings almost 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry to LGI’s mortgage lending division – InterLinc Mortgage. Van Steenhouse joined InterLinc in June 2004, after serving as district manager for First Horizon Home Loans in Houston .

Under his leadership the branch he managed originated in excess of $75 million of business in twelve months. Mr. Van Steenhouse also worked as president and chief operating officer of Memorial Park Mortgage, Ltd. In 2003, the company's closings forecasted at $450 million. In addition to other positions in the mortgage industry, Van Steenhouse also served as a Divisional Vice President for CTX Mortgage Company from 1994 until 2001.
